LinenMe was chosen among other 40 European indoor home product brands to be presented in the “European Design’10" mission in Tokyo, Japan, on 25-29th of October.

A very selective group of European interior (i.e. textiles, lighting, furniture, decoration etc.) designers with hip and cutting edge products of diverse styles from throughout Europe, were led into the exciting Japanese market and business world.

LinenMe Japan

LinenMe presented all the best and most appreciated products that proved to be successful in linenme.com shop and showroom in Merchandise Mart, Chicago, USA. Colourful bath towels, unique table linen and bed linen sets of exceptional quality attracted much attention from local retailers and large retail chains’ representatives.

In fact, they were so excited about the quality and design of linen textile from LinenMe, that the most often question was – what are the maximum quantities you can produce!

Inga Lukauskiene, the owner and chief designer of LinenMe, is very happy with the results of the mission in Japan: “Linen is known well and appreciated very much by Japanese people, and this makes them educated and demanding clients. Although they value natural colours most of all, the wide range of splendid shades presented by LinenMe surprised them a lot and our potential customers got interested at once.”

During the exhibition Inga Lukauskiene has faced many Japanese visitors and business people and her experience and feelings are that Japan can be a difficult market to penetrate. „Only flawless product that differentiates itself from the mainstream design, but that also carries some European flair has a chance in Japanese market,“ – shares Inga. „Japanese consumers pay great attention to quality and image and this make it a big challenge for success“.

LinenMe already had an experience with Japanese market as the brand has a representative there. Customers who want to purchase some beautiful pure linen items in Japan, can visit www.caitlin.jp and receive a quality service.

“European Design’10 Mission” in Tokyo was an opportunity to get acquainted with trends and preferences of Asian people and now it is our energy and hard work that is required to conquer the market” – shares Inga Lukauskiene.
