End of the year 2010 is marked with a sweet taste of achievement for the team of LinenMe – we became a member of International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and American Society of Interior Designers (ASID)!
ASID is a community of people driven by a common love for design and committed to the belief that interior design, as a service to people, is a powerful, multi-faceted profession that can positively change people’s lives. Its more than 36,000 members engage in a variety of professional programs and activities through a network of 48 chapters throughout the United States and Canada. Founded in 1975, the American Society of Interior Designers is the oldest, largest and leading professional organization for interior designers.
IIDA is a professional designer association of more than 10 000 members in almost 30 chapters around the globe. The goal of the association is to create an international network with one mission that would stand for interior designers worldwide.
„Becoming a part of ASID and IIDA is a sign of global recognition and a real achievement for us,” – says Inga Lukauskiene, the owner and chief designer of LinenMe. „Being a member of these global organizations means we are appreciated as a brand with a unique design and that me, as a designer, am appreciated as well. This also means we now can share our ideas, views with other designers worldwide and got input from them. This is a real step forward!”
„Global trends and know-how will surely be implemented to our business and new products or designs presented for our clients. On the other hand, we also hope to make our own impact to international design market – the one of LinenMe point of view!” – shares Inga.
