Hot off the press: here's what's been happening at the recent NYNOW Trade Fair in New York. Showcasing the best in homewares and lifestyle products, celebrating innovative design this is one of the world's premier design exhibitions. These fairs are a regular part of our yearly routine and are a great way to connect with other brands and to show off new products.

NYNOW Show - LinenMe home textiles

LinenMe get Special Mention for Linen Tablecloth

So, we were completely delighted to be finalists in the NYNOW Best New Product award in the Home Textiles and Furnishings category with our Terra Fringe linen tablecloth. Our linen tablecloths are designed for everyday use as well as big occasions, and the fact that you can machine wash them means you don't need to worry about spills. What made the Terra Fringe tablecloth a standout product here is the fact that it's handmade. We believe in hand picking each piece of fabric, and use traditional hand looms to stitch all our products to order. This ensures that every item you buy is imbued with all the years of linen-working know-how that we've developed, and is quality-tested.

Working so closely with our materials means we really understand how to get the best out of linen. And it starts with using the finest, European-grown textiles. We may be making waves internationally but at our heart we are a family-run business who love creating fantastic products. This passion goes into every stitch.

We're also one of NYNOW's top three home textile brands

This might be why we were also selected as one of the top three home textile brands at NYNOW too! It's so lovely to see our products connecting with a wider customer base and to know that people appreciate the expertise, care and attention to detail that goes into every piece. Of course, to be a successful, ethical brand these days you also need to take your responsibility to the environment seriously, and we are proud to work as sustainably as possible at every stage of production. Not only is linen a natural fabric, growing and processing it uses fewer resources than cotton. We make sure we use up every spare scrap of fabric so there's minimal waste, and once your linen product has done its years of great work making your home – or you – look and feel amazing, it will biodegrade too.

Thanks for sharing our good news – whilst this praise and recognition is amazing, ultimately it's you that make all the hard work worthwhile.
