One of the things we love about our work is taking our beautiful linen products out into the world. This month we attended the Maison & Objet Americas show in Miami, Florida. The show consisted of 282 curated brands that define the way we live. We exhibited alongside top designers and industry leaders as part of the Bespoke Object - Exquisite Accessories section, and we were excited to be part of the design future.

When we weren't at the show we had a chance to explore Miami, a city abuzz with design inspiration and innovation. A fascinating blend of post-industrial buildings, Cuban heritage, cultural centres and tropical beach life, Miami can make your head spin. Areas such as the Art District and Design District have successfully regenerated previously declining parts of the city and are now teeming with creatives in the fashion, design, architecture and cuisine industries. We especially loved the Art Deco District along South Beach, which has the world's largest concentration of Art Deco architecture.

Here are some of our snaps of the beautiful Art Deco designs, characterised by vibrant pastel and contrasting colours, geometric shapes and streamlined buildings edged with gentle curves. We can totally see why Miami has become the heart of cutting edge design and architecture.

As well as stunning architecture there was plenty of amazing food to sample. Our favourite spot was Gloria Estefan's beachside restaurant Larios, where you can indulge in delicious Cuban delicacies like bacon-wrapped maduros, tropical ceviche, pork tamales and arroz con leche.

It's so inspiring and energising to travel to places like this, and to bring inspiration from our trips into our own designs and product development.

Thank you Miami, we love you!
