With Father's Day fast approaching (June 16th) we thought you might need some inspiration for gifts for the special dad in your life. Some fathers are easy to buy gifts for, but others, well not so much. If you're struggling to think of something, here's a few of our products that we think he'll love.
For the BBQ master
As we're entering prime BBQ season, give your dad a stylish linen apron to keep splatters and food stains off his clothes. Our linen is machine washable so he can just sling it in the wash when needed, and be ready to serve his very best kebabs, burgers and sausages at every garden party or gathering over the summer.
For the camping fan
Nights under the stars are lots of fun, but they can get chilly. A wool throw will keep him cosy and comfortable, and it can double as a picnic rug during the day. Natural wool blankets help regulate body temperature and are dirt and moisture-repelling, making them a great choice for adventurous outdoorsy dads.
For the home-bird
If your Pops prefers pottering at home then a supersoft set of luxurious bedlinen is the ultimate treat. There's something so comforting and happy-making about sinking back into a freshly made bed with cool, sumptuous linen sheets.
For the foodie
A trusty linen tea towel is a must-have for any keen cook. Our tea towels not only look great, they are practical too, absorbing more water than cotton and quick to dry. You could wrap a loaf of fresh bread in one and take it over for a Father's Day afternoon tea, or make up a foodie parcel with a new gourmet knife, linen tea towel and this cute shark tea infuser (particularly effective when used with red-leaved tea...).
For the traveller
Efficient travelling means careful preparation and packing. To keep luggage light, give the globe-trotting father in your life a linen towel. These take up far less space and are much less bulky when wet. They dry quickly too, which is perfect if he has to pack up and go in a hurry, or likes to stop for a quick dip in the sea or lakes on his travels.
For the gym bunny
Our linen towels are great work-out companions too. The highly absorbent linen will soak up sweat or get him dried off quickly, and they are super durable, which means they can withstand being flung into a kit bag, draped over a treadmill or mopping up after the sauna. Linen is antimicrobial too so it's a healthy option for sweaty environments.
What's your favourite way to spend Father's Day? We usually start with breakfast in bed and then some family activity like a walk or trip somewhere fun, and invariably end with steak and chips for supper!
