You may know already that linen is a sustainable, environmentally-friendly fabric (more on this here), and that we at LinenMe take pride in doing our best to protect the planet. But in this post we are also going green in another sense: celebrating the beauty of this versatile colour, from its earthy tones to pastel shades. Green is a huge trend in interiors and fashion for Spring/Summer '17, so here are a few of our gorgeous products in a variety of shades to help you get your green on.

This linen dress

Bold, fresh and vibrant, our Fausta dress comes in this fab kiwi green. With a flattering v-neck and bell-shaped sleeves that cover the upper arm but leave the wrist open, this dress has a simple tunic shape. Wear on its own this summer with clogs (we love these raspberry peep-toes) or sandals, and pair with tights and a chunky knit in cooler months.

This linen throw

Our linen throws are enduring favourites thanks to their super softness and durability. Whether thrown over a bed or draped round your shoulders on a cool summer's evening, this waffle linen throw will keep you cosy all year round. The waffle weave gives the throw texture and depth in an understated way, making it the perfect companion for both a minimalist interior or a colour-filled space. This throw looks amazing with our dusky pink stonewashed linen duvet cover and pillowcases.

This bedlinen

If you prefer muted, earthy shades of green, our stonewashed bedlinen set in spa green might be just what you are after. As with all our bedlinen, the linen fabric will help give you a better chance of getting some quality sleep. It is machine washable too, and the natural crumples mean there's no need for ironing. This colour works well with greys and natural tones, and would look amazing next to this unusual botanical wallpaper.

These huckaback linen towels

These huckaback linen bath towels come in a gentle shade of balsam green. They have a cute honeycomb weave, which not only looks adorable but helps increase their absorbency, making them a stylish alternative to traditional cotton towels. This green would look lovely in a white space, or with heathery purples and soft lilacs.

This linen apron

We love this cheery Lara linen apron in pistachio - perfect for bringing a splash of green into your kitchen without needing to redecorate. Machine washable and strong yet soft, our pure linen aprons will work as hard as you do in the kitchen, as well as providing plenty of Insta-worthy style if you enjoy sharing your baking!

These linen napkins

linen napkins - LinenMe

Like all our linen products, these napkins are made from highest quality, long-wearing pure linen. They feel beautiful and this gentle aloe green shade is a lovely way to bring some subtle colour to your table or summer picnic. Just throw them in the washing machine after you've used them and they'll get even better with each wash. We have a matching linen tablecloth too, or you could pair these napkins with this striped table runner for added contrast.

As you can see, the range of green colours and tones is huge, meaning there is something for every taste. Other ways to go green in your home are to add lots of houseplants (we love succulents), hang a botanical print or paint your walls this lush shade of avocado green (not for the faint-hearted!).
