Updated September 2026 — This archival announcement has been reviewed for clarity and current LinenMe styling.

In 2011 LinenMe expanded its textile story with the launch of WoolMe, a dedicated collection of thoughtfully selected wool throws and accessories. The idea grew from our experience with natural home textiles and from seeing how texture, colour and softness can shape the atmosphere of a room.

Why LinenMe created WoolMe

“Some time ago our experience with linen home textiles, and our knowledge of how the texture, colour and softness of a fabric influence an interior, made us include quality wool throws in the LinenMe shop. We then noticed increasing demand for beautifully designed wool throws,” explained LinenMe and WoolMe founder Inga Lukauskiene.

WoolMe was created to make those pieces easier to discover in one dedicated collection while keeping the same focus on natural materials, enduring design and affordable luxury.

Natural fibres and considered design

The launch collection featured alpaca, angora, cashmere, merino and other wool throws. Designs were personally selected by Inga, a graduate of London’s KLC School of Design and LinenMe’s chief designer. The original collection was produced in Lithuania using high-quality wool.

Layering wool with linen

Wool and linen bring different but complementary qualities to a home. Linen bedding and table linen feel breathable and relaxed, while a wool throw adds warmth, depth and tactile contrast. Choosing related colours makes it simple to build a calm, cohesive interior that works across the seasons.

A note about the original launch offer

The original 2011 announcement included a one-time introductory discount for the first WoolMe customer. That historical launch promotion has ended and is not a current offer.
