European Flax® trademark
Our linen fabric is certified under the European Confederation of Flax and Hemp's trademark of quality, traceable European linen. This means the linen is high quality, made from European-grown flax and has been tested to ensure it meets certain strength levels.
Flax grown in Belgium, the Netherlands and Northern France benefits from the damp, cool climate and rich soil. This means the fibres that produce linen fabric are strong and resilient. It is also a more sustainable crop than cotton, so when you choose certified European Flax® linen you're helping the planet and minimising your carbon footprint. Woolmark
Not only do we produce beautiful linen textiles, we also create gorgeous wool throws and blankets through our sister company, WoolMe. Our wool products carry the Woolmark trademark, an internationally recognised mark of traceability and quality standards. To achieve certification wool undergoes rigorous testing to check the fibre content, colour fastness in light, durability, washability and colourfastness to liquid.
Because wool is 100% biodegradable and is the most recycled fibre in the world, it's also a sustainable choice.
OEKO-TEX
Our fabrics amd products carrying the OEKO-TEX Standard 100 mark have been tested to ensure they are free from harmful substances and are suitable for human use. All elements of a product is tested according to strict, globally standardised criteria. We are delighted to be one of the over 21,000 companies awarded this certification showing our products are not harmful to health. It's one more way we're taking care of you and the planet.
