Having bought this tablecloth and runner in blue for ourselves, we were so delighted with the quality that we bought this and napkins as a Christmas present for a very discerning DiL who we are sure will be very pleased with it. A very good weight cloth means it hangs properly over the edges of the table. Washes and irons well too.
A little sceptical about linen towels, I bought this for a recent holiday and have been extremely impressed. It is lovely to use, washes well and packs up to a fraction of the size of a typical beach towel. Now I regularly take it on any swimming trip . Highly recommended
Good-quality linen. Wonderful colour. I have given four stars and not five because the waffle weave initially sheds a blue haze but after a few washes and a little use this gradually decreases. The towel is not over-absorbent when new but quickly gets better. It reminds me of happy stays with my grandparents as a child. I am sure the towel will last for many years and improve with age.
very pleased with service and with quality of dress. I haven't worn yet so can't comment on washing but I am sure it will be fine. Customer service very helpful and personal - which is a pleasant change from most companies now. Have also ordered same dress in Aqua so hoping the colour will suit.
I adore linen towels. I have abandoned heavy cotton towels and converted to linen only. They are super absorbent and dry in a flash, making them ideal travel towels as well. That said, I was a little disappointed in these particular towels. Love the color, quality is wonderful, but due to the softening process used, the absorbency seems to have vanished. I am not a fan of fabric softeners of any kind, and whatever the process was that LinenMe used, it had a negative effect for me. Water was actually repelled during the first use. I would have preferred the un-softened crispness of linen, which naturally softens over time, keeping linen's natural absorbency undiminished. That's what I expected having purchased other (un-softened) LinenMe towels years ago. I contacted LinenMe, and asked if the absorbency should improve with subsequent washings. They indicated it should, but my experience is that after 4 washings, they are still less absorbent than older, unsoftened towels.

Bought these to go with my black linen Provence table cloth. They are great little bread basket and add a nice touch of style to casual dining
